Whew! I finally decided to give CVS a try and I was not disappointed (oh and by the way, if any of you are still holding out, it really isn’t as intimidating as it seems).
And here are the results of my first trip:
Not a whole lot, just enough to get my feet wet. I think what was holding me back, was that I am bound and determined not to buy a bunch of stuff that I don’t need, just because it is on sale. I love saving money, but saving money on things we don’t need and won’t use, isn’t saving money. We don’t get the newspaper, so we don’t ever have coupons to cut. I could go and get a Sunday paper, but I know that I will wind up forgetting. So unfortunitly, I won’t have coupon savings, but hopefully I can still get some pretty good deals. So here is my total for the day.
Total everything should have cost me: $31.00
Total everything did cost me: $25.63
Total extra care bucks received: $8.00
Not too bad for a first timer:) I am excited to see what will be in the add for next week! This could become addictive.
Thanks to everyone sending well wishes for the wisdom teeth removal. It really wasn’t that bad. Not too much pain or anything. Definitly not worth all the stress I heaped on to it:P

Hey Andrea!
I love finding and searching for great deals!!! I am a thrift store-aholic, too. It’s amazing how much you can save if you just pay attention.
My best deal this week:
KMart is having a huge sale on General Mills cereal. There are many flavors to chose from, including Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Captain Crunch, Curves, Cocoa Pebbles, etc. You can buy 4 boxes for only $6! (But that price is only if you buy 4 boxes. If you buy any less than 4 they are 4 for $10.) You don’t even need a coupon. That’s like a savings of 50%. They also have Pepsi products on sale for $2.50 per 12 pack. I don’t know if you are a big soda fan…..But some of your readers might be.
I love reading your blogs. They are great! Take care.
