I have read about the old MS baby magazines on a number of different crafty blogs. I found a good deal on ebay and ordered some for myself:) And let me tell you, I was not disappointed. So much inspiration! I have been dreaming, imagining, and loving on future baby for the last two days. Here is a little taste:)
I saw yesterday that lovely Lisa and her hubby Tucker, have made the same leap as Rob and I. As of last month, we are officially living on one income. Although it has been a little difficult, in the long run we think it will make the transition easier when the time comes. Keeping thoughts of baby in mind has certainly made the transition easier(and keeping baby in mind is not at all hard on my end:). And there is nothing I want more than to stay home and raise my family. I know a lot of you ladies who stop by are staying at home and living on one income. Any hints, tips, tricks, etc. would be greatly appreciated:)
p.s. no we aren’t pregnant yet, but a girl can prepare, right?

That is the sweetest magazine in the entire world.
And so excited for you as you anticipate and dream of a baby. I think it’s very wise what you guys and Lisa and Tucker are doing to consolidate down to one income. I don’t know that I have any tricks or tips that haven’t already been mentioned. Except I know one way we try to save in the long run is to buy in bulk ( Costco ). It adds up fast but if you just stick to the basics, milk, chesse, eggs, fruit & veggies, bread, meat, you can save $$.

I love dreaming of babies, it is so easy to do with all of the darling little ones in blog world…..
I will be stopping back to see what kind of tips you get. We can all use some good advise, right?!?!
Keep me updated when you begin “trying”. It can get very overwhelming, but you have to keep your eye on the prize!
Hoping a baby comes easily for you and your hubby…

Ok. The whole time I was reading your post, I was thinking, “Is she pregnant?!? How did I miss the announcement?” Mid-way through reading your post, I started scrolling down, trying to find where you posted the announcement.
Then I saw your disclaimer at the end of your post
LOL
You had me pretty excited, there.
I join you in your love of dreaming. I can’t wait till we have a precious bundle of joy one day!
God bless

I have a couple of the old MS baby magazines, they are fabulous… I would love to see these other issues..
Enjoy. It was such a great magazine.
Good luck on your finances venture… so worth it to be home with those babies later.

Like Carrie, I was thinking “Did I miss an announcement?” & began scrolling feverishly thru the archives (first rule of reading every post- read all the way to the bottom
)
What sweet magazines- of course there was nothing like that around when I was having babies (can it really be more than 20 years?) but maybe for way-in-the-future grandbabies
