This weekend was all about the friends, family and crafts:D And that is, by the way, my favorite kind of weekend.  I finally got around to making something from one of my favorite craft books…which can be found here.  And dun da da dun…

The cutest little slippers ever.  But alas, the pattern was unfortunately not made for those with size gigantic feet (like me).  I already had the fabric cut out and I decided to make them anyways just for the fun of it.  And as luck would have it, I went to a baby shower on Sunday and the soon to be mommy has tiny little feet so I put them in with her present.  Everything has a purpose doesn’t it:)  I will just have to photocopy the pattern and enlarge it for me…  There is always next weekend.

We also had family in town.  Three of my mom’s sisters were in town for the weekend and we went to the quilt shop (oh how I love finding things on sale) and out for dinner on Saturday night.  It was a busy weekend, but a lot of fun!

And last but certainly not least, my (low to the) ground dog was outside today and he definitely saw his shadow…what is today, the 25th of February.  That undoubtedly means that spring is on it’s way, right?
